Woo juicy news here: Matthew McConaughey could be playing the Green Goblin aka Norman Osborn in Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man reboot.

And appaz Matt has recently revealed he’s ‘talked about working’ with Marvel and DC Comics on other projects. These projects are in reportedly in the pipeline but he won’t dish out what they are.

Cheeky scamp. The Dallas Buyers Club actor said: "Nothing has been right for me yet. "But I'm sure open to it."

As for Matthew himself, he seems willing to appear in a superhero film and told Variety last week that he's had contact with both Marvel and DC: "I’ve read some Marvel and DC scripts and I’ve talked about working with them on some scripts, none of which I’ll share with with you what they are -- or were.

Yeah, I’ve circled some of those. Nothing has been right for me yet. But I’m sure open to it."

In other Matthew film news, The Sea of Trees, which also stars Naomi Watts, debuted at the Cannes Film festival last week, to a pretty negative reception.

But the actor, who let's face it, has been in some shocking films before his "McConaissance" (Failure to Launch, anyone?), didn't seem too bothered by the reaction - telling journalists at a press conference people have a right to boo his films. When asked about the response, he said: “All right, all right, all right. Anyone has as much right to boo as they do to ovate.”

He also added that he was a lucky man in life, and that other elements of his life made criticism easier to deal with. "I get to wake up next to someone who I know loves me the way she does - my wife - who gave birth to our three beautiful, healthy children.

"I get to live in a nice place, and I have things to look forward to every day - work, play, and sometimes nothing at all."

If the Academy Award winning actor gets the Spidey role, he’ll appear in the film set for a July 2017 release.
