Strictly Come Dancing contestant Max George has reportedly received a warning from his girlfriend Stacey Giggs after it was rumoured that he was getting a little too close to his dance partner Dianne Buswell.
BBC bosses were allegedly forced to ramp up security when the professional dancer received death threats after being falsely accused of cheating on her boyfriend Joe Sugg, with one supposed fan even claiming they’d turned up at the apartment block where Max and Dianne are living during their time on the show.
And although there was no truth to rumours that they’re having an affair, it’s claimed that The Wanted star’s other half has laid down the law so that their relationship doesn’t fall victim to the Strictly curse.
A Strictly insider revealed, “Max is a terrible flirt and very cheeky. There is definite chemistry between him and Dianne, but she is a total professional.
“Stacey apparently read Max the riot act before he went on the show and has now given him another warning, so he knows he can’t cross the line. Max is just a very lovable guy and women are drawn to him. He’s got that charm.”

Strictly Come Dancing confirmed to continue through second lockdown
The infamous Strictly curse has become a well-known term to fans as many of their celeb contestants and their dance partners have relationships end (and begin) after starring on the show.
2018 champion Stacey Dooley went public with her dance partner Kevin Clifton last year, just months after splitting from long-term boyfriend Sam Tucknott, while professional dancers Neil and Katya Jones split ten months after she was pictured kissing celebrity contestant Seann Walsh.
There’s added pressure on this year’s contestants too as coronavirus restrictions mean they’re unable to see their loved ones after forming bubbles with their dance partners to allow them to work closely together.
“I’m part of Max’s bubble so I can’t see Joe, so I’ve had to move out,” Dianne explained during an appearance on Lorraine, before adding, “Its’s tough, obviously, but it’s our job.”
