In news that almost made us spit out our cheerios in shock, reports have surfaced that Maya Jama and Stormzy have split up.
The couple were living at his house in Chelsea, but Maya is said to be looking for a new place as she’s had enough of his ‘wild lifestyle’, apparently.
A source told The Sun: “Maya and Stormzy are splitting up and she wants to move out.
“She has been ringing estate agents, and her reps and friends have been looking at flats for her.
“They barely see each other because of work, and the flat is full of his mates playing Xbox, smoking and ordering takeaways at all hours.
It was also reported that they had a huge row in a club last week, and Stormzy also unfollowed Maya on Twitter (then refollowed a day later).
The couple spoke to Vogue magazine about how they first met and got together in 2014, and it was all very adorbs.
Maya said: “We met in October, then we were going out by January.”
“We met at Red Bull Culture Clash,” she continued. “You know, if I’m really honest, I knew I fancied him from the start. But I didn’t want anything yet, because, you know, you’re trying to do the whole friend situation first, and then I’d do, like, obvious hints that I fancied him and then take it back because I didn’t know if he definitely liked me. It was a childish phase. And then one day we just kissed, and that was that!”
Stormzy then added: “It was three years and one month ago exactly”.
