When you've spent a pretty hefty amount of time with somebody, cooped up in a house surrounded by hundreds of cameras together, we'd like to think that you form a pretty good impression of what kind of person they really are.
Take Jeremy McConnell and Megan McKenna, who both lived in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year. OK, so they weren't romantically involved or anything – but they seemed to get on. Like pals.
And considering the absolute HEAP of drama that followed Jeremy McConnell (and his now pregnant ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis) out of the house, we thought Megan McKenna would be the first to have an opinion on the cheating, the scandals, the screenshots, the public Twitter brawls...etc.
However, it seems like Megs (who's the first to call anyone out for being a dickhead, a little mug and so on) still believes that Jeremy McConnell IS just a NICE GUY.
Is this the same Megan? Have they kidnapped the real one or whaaa?
Speaking to Star magazine veeeery recently, Megan said this of her MATE Jezza:
“I’m always going to be friends with Jeremy, he’s such a nice guy.
“Good luck to him. I’ll probably see him soon.”
Now there was no mention of Steph, who confirmed this weekthat she was 100% pregnant with Jeremy's child – after dropping hints all over social media for weeks.
Jeremy is now reportedly in hiding after previously releasing a statement (which has now been deleted), begging Stephanie to calm down.
He wrote: "First of all I think its ridiculous this being on social media as its no-one's business. But this is what I've to deal with and clear my name.
"Just to clear if what is circulating is true, I'll always be responsible for my actions and I explained to Steph I'll speak to her, and do everything for her, if she stops drinking and partying knowing she's 'pregnant'."
He added: "I'm sick of tit for tat but I won't let anyone slander me, I haven't been ideal in the relationship whatsoever, I'm trying to move on peacefully, it's a shock to most but a kid can't fix a broken relationship."
