Megan McKenna has hit back at cruel trolls who attacked her for her appearance on a recent Instagram post showing her eating lunch.
She picture, captioned: “Quick 3 course lunch stop @mckgrill 🤤😍🙌🏽” attracted a number of nasty comments about her appearance from her followers.
One person wrote: “What’s with the silly pout while eating?”
Another added: “You have perfectly ridiculous trout lips lol”
A third chimed in with: “Lips look silly”.
But Megan has hit back at the trolling, writing: “Why’s everyone so f**_ing bothered about my hair or my lips or me pouting??? Why follow me if you hate the way that I am? I never comment back about this stuff anymore but F_CK ME IT’S A JOKE.
“Ain’t you trolls got anything better to do than pick on a young girl who’s posting about FOOD???
“I’m not wearing any makeup and clearly have scruffed my hair up. If I had a full face of makeup on the trolls would be slagging me off saying I’m too dolled up for lunch! If I wanna pout I’ll pout. Like most of us girls do.
“Now press the unfollow button if you got something nasty to say. What happened to making us girls feel good about each other.”
It’s been a difficult week for Megan, who was forced to leave the NTAs early after getting struck down by an illness.
A source told The Sun: "Megan was rushed to hospital by ambulance with a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius last week - and no one knew what was wrong with her. She felt so sick, she didn't even have the energy to pick up her phone.
"She spent her time in hospital hooked up to a drip - that's why her arms are bruised - and was later diagnosed with infectious colitis.
