Last week, we had to bring you the sad news that LOVE IS DEAD.
The love between Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks anyway, after news broke that Pete had been sexting his ex, Jacqui Ryland, behind Megan's back.
Maybe we were foolish to think more of Pete, Essex's self-styled gentleman, but we really believed he was better then the other TOWIE men, who seem to cheat as a matter of course (except Tommy Mallet).
We'd never even seen him have a relationship on the show other than that clearly not staged (ahem) abortive one with Jessica Wright that ended when she tongued Lewis Bloor of the enormous and hairless peen.
And Pete seemed to be good for Megan, we even thought they might make it down the aisle. Maybe they still will. Although Megs has deleted all pictures of Pete's face from her social meeds, which doesn't bode well.
But while the pics of Pete have gone, a very fierce message has gone up.
"If ever you find yourself doubting you can make it through a challenge, simply think back to everything you overcome in the past."
Yeeesss, Megs! We can all relate to that.
Pete has so far remained silent, although he has been spotted filming sad scenes in a park with James Lock, so hopefully we'll hear all about it in TOWIE.
Jacquie Ryland, who told her story to The Sun, has also posted an angry message on Twitterthat may or may not be about the whole drama.
