The Good Ship TOWIE has taken us on a PRETTY bumpy ride over the last few weeks. Not only were our worlds rocked to learn that Pete Wicks had been engaged in a textual relationship with someone other than his actual girlfriend, Megan McKenna, but we also later learned that he'd been getting SMS naughty with up to TEN ladies.
The bulk of the sexy texts went to Pete's ex, Jacqui Ryland, and soon there were whispers on the streets of Brentwood that she would be brought into TOWIE to cause even more dramz.
Ohmygod what?
Not only would that possibly be the most AWKWARD viewing ever – even surpassing that moment that Mick Norcross walked past Gemma with the champagne – but we've seen what an angry Megan looks like, and it's terrifying.
However, Megan took to Twitter to let her followers know that no such thing would happen in the subtlest way EVER – simply screen grabbing a quote from TOWIE producers.
The image from an article on CelebsNow reads: "Jacqui will not be appearing on TOWIE. There are no plans to film with her,"
Pete was quick to follow with this:
"Press should really contact @OnlyWayIsEssex and @ITVBe for the actual truth instead of fabricating incorrect stories."
Well that seems to clear that up, then.
We recently watched Pete sobbing on a log while vowing to never stop fighting for Megan. Then Megan went and had a badass break-over, getting herself a fringe – PROOF that she's moving on, right?
Well, not quite. Despite a few frosty and mysterious tweets, the pair were spotted hanging out at the weekend, causing the rumour mill to go into overdrive.
Does this mean Pegan is back together? Or were they just meeting to give each other's stuff back?
And, more importantly, will this GIF ever get old?
Probs not.
