Meghan Markle’s ‘perfect roast chicken recipe’ REVEALED

We’ve all heard the adorably cute way in which Prince Harry proposed to Suits star Meghan Markle. We’re picturing a roaring fire, Meghan looking oh-so glamourous as she pulls a perfectly golden roast chicken out of a ranger cooker, Harry nervously bending onto one knee as the delicious chicken smell wafts around the room.

And now we can look forward to all marrying royalty, as Meghan’s proposal inducing chicken recipe’s been revealed. And you might be surprised by one interesting ingredient.

The recipe is apparently one of Ina Garten’s, who goes by the name of the Barefoot Contessa, and who’s cooking Meghan has previously praised.

“There is nothing as delicious (or as impressive) as a perfectly roasted chicken,” she told Good Housekeeping in an interview earlier this year.

“It’s a game changer. I bring that to dinner and make a lot of friends.”

The chicken recipe in The Contessa’s book includes a quartered lemon, sprigs of fresh thyme and, most surprisingly, radishes (680g) – which are placed around the chicken as it roasts in the oven.

So, there you have it. If you’re planning in sending out some vibes to spur on your other half into popping the question, the answer is whacking a load of radishes around your roast chicken.

If it’s good enough for Prince Harry, it’s probably good enough for the special someone in your life (the guy we’ve been Insta stalking for the last six months).
