We’ve all heard of arachnophobia (the fear of spiders), ophidiophobia (the fear of snakes), and even Eliophobia (the fear of wool). But we’ve never actually come across cameltoenophobia, which is the paralysing fear of camel toe.

Until now…

Meghan Trainor has opened up about the terror she feels towards that unfortunate wardrobe malfunction known as camel toe.

The All About That Bass singer told the Evening Standard that she refuses to wear certain outfits, including leotards, on stage because she’s worried she’ll get a camel toe, or, as we like to call it, ‘do a Miley’.

"I have a lifelong fear of camel toe and told my record label right away that I would never wear a bathing suit on stage," she explained.

"Jessie J and Ariana Grande can do it - they've got those tiny ass legs - but if I did, people would just be thinking, 'Vagina, vagina, vagina'."

She added: "I feel comfortable in my own skin and wouldn't say no to doing a nude photo shoot.

"Not the Kim Kardashian 'here's my nipples' thing, though. More Marilyn Monroe - sexy but subtle."
