We were pretty darn delighted when we saw Mel B had been roped in to cover for Nicole Scherzinger in last week’s episode. We love Nicole, but definitely needed some Spice in our lives.
And now it’s been revealed that she’ll be Sinitta-ing it up at Judges Houses with Simon Cowell this year (soz, Sinitta), as he’s been put in charge of mentoring the girls group for the first time ever.
A source said: "Simon is hungrier than ever to win and wants Mel’s caustic and honest advice to spice up the ITV series.
"Not only has she been a huge hit on the show in the past, but she’s got the Spice Girls reunion ahead.
"She knows exactly what it takes to cut it in the business too. Simon is confident he’s got the winning formula,” they told The Sun.
We wonder if she’ll bring up the whole pissing on Bear Grylls thing?
In news equally as exciting, Calvin Harris was confirmed as Nicole’s Judges Houses pal.
He revealed it in a Snapchat video, saying in it: "What's good?" to which Nicole replies: "We're just chilling here at my villa in the South of France."
Calvin then says: "Quite nice."
This news is all the more exciting given that Calvin was given a lifetime ban from the show back in 2009 for orchestrating quite literally the best television moment of all time.
He was due to be a panellist on The Xtra Factor (this was a time before Taylor Swift and his mega fame), but decided instead to crash the stage with a pineapple on his head when Jedward were singing Under Pressure.
Which was fair enough.
We are literally still laughing about this.
Calvin, meanwhile, looks like he's having an absolute whale of a time right now. He won a GQ Award, has apparently been dating a Mexican model, threw major shade at Taylor Swift during his acceptance speech, and Hiddleswift split up.
We're not saying he's a bitter ex-boyfriend or anything, but we're guessing he's pleased.
