Michelle Keegan has denied that a Facebook post written by someone with the same name as her was, er, her after it went viral on the ol’ interweb.
Loads of news outlets this morning claimed the massive status was penned by the ex-Coronation Street star because it talked about “skinny-shaming” and how being called anorexic was as bad as being branded fat.
The author of the post also said they don’t believe in dieting and try to go to the gym three times a week.
They – masquerading as Michelle – added: “I think people would be surprised at how much I actually eat! I have a very big appetite, I love food too much to diet.
“So for all you people telling me to ‘go eat a burger’… Believe me I do! I actually had 3 this weekend so thanks for your concern, but I’m good.”
The status was then deleted, but not before someone had nabbed a screenshot of it.
However, Mich – who’s currently on honeymoon with brand new husband Mark Wright right now – quickly denied she’d written the post.
Thing is, we can see why she’d want to nip any rumours in the bud, especially when they’re to do with the tricky subject of skinny-shaming, buuuuut… haven’t you guys got a social media manager for this sort of thing?
Even if you haven’t yet, that six-figure magazine deal you got for your wedding should go some way to employing one…
