Millie Mackintosh looked stunning when she hit the muddy fields of Glastonbury with her mates last month. But how does she look so good? It turns out it’s all in the style…and a good few wet wipes of course.

“My favourite festival style tip this year has to be teaming boho, floaty, feminine styles with more structured and tailored elements like printed shorts or a military jacket,” Millie told heat when we met to chat about her new Millie Mackintosh Collection.
”My two Festival must-haves have to be statement sunglasses and a fringed jacket.”

She added: “My festival pet hate is unoriginality. I do consider myself someone who follows trends to an extent as you have to when you have your own fashion collection but I also make sure that I incorporate one unique element to all my outfits, whether it be a vintage hat or an item of jewellery.”

Along with watching all her favourite bands and catching up with the girls, Millie admitted the best part of going is so she can people watch. She really is a girl after our own hearts.

“My favourite part of festivals is people-watching,” she explained. “All the different takes on fashion and different energies is fantastic and you get so much inspiration there.

“I went to Glastonbury last year and it really inspired my Summer collection - I have lots of pieces that are great for festival fashion but are still practical as well. Just seeing everyone’s sense of style and how they wear pieces really gave me lots of ideas I replicated in my own collection as well.”
