Mike Thalassitis’ ex Jasmin Weston has thrown some mega shade at Muggy Mike and Megan McKenna’s relationship, branding it a showmance.
Jasmine briefly dated Mike after winning him over with her culinary skills on Celebrity Dinner Date.
After Mike chose to take her out over two other potential dates, the pair continued to message but their romance didn’t last long as he ‘was busy with club Pas’. Mike also went on to star on Celebs Go Dating and then several weeks later confirmed his relationship with Megan.
“I think he quite likes her because she's in the limelight as well,” Jasmine told The Sun.
“I feel like that is a big part of their relationship. All over magazines and I think they’re loving it.”
She went on to say: “But they do seem proper loved up. It could be convenience.”
Despite being broadcast last week, Jasmine and Mike’s episode of Celebrity Dinner Date was filmed shortly following his stint on Love Island, where he’d been branded Muggy Mike by fellow islander Chris Hughes.
Jasmine also revealed that despite his nickname, Mike was actually “a very chilled guy and very sweet.”
She added: “He’s really lovely and quite charming as well. I was pleasantly surprised. I saw a different side to him.
“We messaged a bit. But I just thought, ‘he’s probably messaging 1,000 other girls’ so I wasn’t into it.”
Mike recently posted an adorable message in support of Megan after her appearance on ITV’s The Real Full Monty: Ladies Night.
He shared photo of the pair backstage at Sheffield’s City Hall and gushed: “Proud of my girl!”
