Natalie Portman called out the 'all-male' Best Director nominees at the Golden Globes last night while on stage presenting the award.

After her co-presenter Ron Howard announced the category, she added: "and here are the all-male nominees", which was met with cheers and shocked sounds from the audience.

Guillermo Del Toro won the award for Shape Of Water, but many people have noted that female directors like Greta Gerwig, Dee Rees and Patty Jenkins had been snubbed from the category.

The 75th Annual Golden Globes took place last night, and many stars wore all black to honour the victims of the sexual harassment scandal that gripped Hollywood last year.

Many opted to use their acceptance speeches as means to honour the victims and address the scandal - Oprah Winfrey said that "a new day is on the horizon" while picking up an award.
