Naughty Boy has threatened to leak an unreleased Zayn Malik song and has reignited his feud with the singer.
The music producer, real name Shahid Khan, fell out with the former One Direction star soon after he left the band.
The pair had been working together on Zayn’s solo music and Shahid has suggested he should have some credit for Zayn’s debut solo track Pillowtalk.
In tweets that have now been deleted, Shahid wrote: “Please don’t make me leak the original #likeiwould ha.”
He posted the message after he noticed Zayn had told a fan that the first song he wrote was Pillowtalk.
The producer retweeted the post and wrote: “LOL.”
Former 1D star Zayn’s fans hit out at Naughty Boy for his comment, prompting him to respond: “If time was money then I never had a lot to lose.”
He added: "Credit where credit is due.”
Zayn previously said he had written Pillowtalk soon after he left his band.
He said: “Basically, I wrote that shortly after I left the band.
“We wrote that song around the time that I was feeling these emotions, shall we say, and I feel like that’s why it came out the way it did.
“I feel like in the vocal you can get a sense that I’m meaning what I’m saying.”
The star fell out with Naughty Boy last year and branded him a “fat joke” following reports Shahid leaked some of Zayn’s music.
He insisted he had nothing to do with any tracks being leaked at the time and that their argument was actually for a different reason.
Shahid told the Guardian: “That wasn’t... That wasn’t... that was just him throwing his toys out of the pram. We fell out over something else...
“Our friendship was genuine, 100 per cent. But then you have other relationships with lawyers and labels etc.
“I don’t think we actually fell out over the lack of friendship or trust, I think it was external influences.”
