Shake It Off singer Taylor Swift has been touring the globe of late, showcasing her newest album 1989 to the world.

And all was going to swimmingly, with killer performances and a long list of celebrity guests appearances (Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Nick Jonas… the list goes on) until she got STUCK on stage while rocking out in Washington DC last night.
Freaks out thinking about it
Just after being joined on stage with celebrity bestie and fellow pop star Lorde, Taylor experienced a set malfunction that left her stuck on an extendable platform for several minutes.
But pro Swifty knows that the show must go on, and kept her cool during the whole ordeal.
“They just told me in my ear that I might be stuck up here forever. This thing is broken...” she told the crowd.
"I was just thinking about how I was singing a song about rain and it rained today… it's not that funny… We're just gonna have to re-choreograph the entire show. It's fine. Whatever. It's gonna be a unique show D.C.!"
She kept everything moving by announcing: “But in the meantime, I'm gonna sing a song for you called Clean and I hope you'll sing along.”
Well done for keeping it together, Taylor. We’re not sure we’d have been able to do the same!
