As the clock struck 4pm yesterday, many users of popular social media apps Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp went into meltdown as the platforms broke, but Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones thought he'd have a bit of fun on Twitter.
Following the news that Strictly 2018 stars Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell are in a relationship, Neil took it upon himself to tease fans that the YouTuber had decided to propose to Dianne.
Taking to his Twitter account (more or less the only social media app that was working), Neil wrote, 'When my IG, Facebook and WhatsApp are all working 😜 and wow I think it’s the best content I’ve ever seen on @Joe_Sugg stories u should really check it out ohhhhh yeah right u can’t 😜😂😂😂😂 #instagramisdown'. [sic]
As fans questioned his message, the dancer, who was wrapped up in his own drama last year when his wife Katya Jones kissed her Strictly partner Seann Walsh, posted even more tweets, continuing to tease fans.
He added, 'It’s hard to understand but something about having a big surprise for @dbuzz6589 but first he needs to speak to her dad and he said something about bells🤔.' [sic]
Neil, who has been confirmed to appear on the 2019 series of Strictly, then ended his Twitter fun by writing, 'I think @Joe_Sugg might be buying some knee pads as he keeps talking about getting on one knee🤔' . [sic]
HOWEVER, before we start buying a hat for the wedding, Joe or Dianne are yet to post anything, so we think Neil was just teasing his mate!

As Dianne prepared to dance in the 'Here Come The Girls' tour last week, Joe posted a cute message, admitting how 'proud' he is of his girl.
He wrote, 'So proud of this one today! The opening night of the #hctgtour! She’s worked her absolute socks off day in day out and put everything into this. From what I’ve seen of the little sneak peaks she’s shown me this week I just know it’s going to be such a great show! Break a leg @diannebuswell and the rest of the gang!
