Neil Patrick Harris - aka Barney from How I Met Your Mother, aka Doogie from *Doogie Howser M.D., *aka Desi Collings from Gone Girl - is going to host Oscars 2015.
Barney Neil will follow in the footsteps of Ellen DeGeneres to host the 87th Academy Awards which takes place on 22 February 2015.
He’s previously hosted the Tony Awards, the Emmys and a fictional version of Dancing With The Stars from American Pie: Reunion, so he’s definitely got the CV credentials.
