One Direction and Little Mix have a few things in common – they both came from the X Factor and former band member Zayn Malik is engaged to Perrie Edwards which is all very nice.

But it seems the two bands could now have a brand new link if this new video is anything to go by.

A clip of 1D singer Niall Horan twirling around Little Mix warbler Jade Thirlwall as they dance has sent social media into meltdown.

In the clip, the pair can be seen enjoying themselves with some friends before they kick the rest of the group out of the shot for a boogie.

And while some could be forgiven for thinking they’re flirting, Directioners are having none of it and think there’s more chance of Niall dating his own hat than Jade.
