It has been a pretty good year for Niall Horan.
As well as hanging out with Olly Murs on Celebrity Gogglebox (be still our beating hearts), the young singer released his own song, he was an absolute BOSS when trolls started texting him horrible stuff, and he proved that he was just a ball of love and light when he turned up to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and bought hot chocolate for all of the fans waiting outside in the cold.

Yeah, there were times when things didn’t exactly go his way.
Like when he was sleeping on a plane and a fan started taking creepy snaps of him.
Or that REALLY awkward time when a fan gave him a reality check.
However, overall, we’d say it wasn’t a terrible 2016 for Niall.
But when he sent a worrying tweet this week, fans went into meltdown.
Taking to Twitter, Niall posted: “Got a chest infection Christmas week …. cool cool cool ……. not ideal,”
Poor Niall. Can you imagine not being able to sing Wizzard’s I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday on Christmas Day?
Sad times.
But then the singer went on to say: “Should have listened to my mother years ago when she said ‘ don’t go out with wet hair or you’ll get pneumonia’ “
Is this an insight into Niall’s actual ailment? Is he using Twitter as a means of relaying a message to the world that he has pneumonia? Or was he just referring to an old wives' tale?
We don’t know.
But it hasn’t stopped fans from worrying about him and offering their support.
One even threatened to ‘fight the pneumonia’.
