Nicholas Hoult hasn’t ruled out getting raunchy for future film roles

Actor Nicholas Hoult was looking handsome at this year’s GQ Men Of The Year Awards. So much so that we made sure we grabbed him for a chat at the after party held on the Terrace of London’s Royal Opera House.

He came to the awards especially to present Jack O’Connell with his award for Vertu Breakthrough Actor – as he told us he’s a big fan of him and his work.

And we discovered a few other things about the X Men star – including the fact that his “go to” man is none other than American fashion designer/film director, Tom Ford. We couldn’t resist asking him a cheeky question – whether we would see him taking on a raunchy role in something like 50 Shades Of Grey.

He told us: “It depends on the circumstances, who the filmmakers are, if it’s necessary and what it means to the story.”

Well, it wasn’t an outright ‘no’ so we are keeping EVERYTHING crossed.

We also wondered if we’d ever see him follow the beard trend – and we can reveal to all of you who prefer a smooth-faced man, that he can’t do it.

“Most of the time I work so I can’t [follow that trend] but well done to them all.”

What a smoothie.
