Nick Grimshaw never felt the need to come out, as he always knew he was gay from a young age.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ has opened up about his sexuality, saying it’s something he always felt comfortable with.
He didn’t feel he had to make a point of telling people he was homosexual because his attraction to the same sex was totally natural to him.

He told the Radio Times: “I never felt as an adult that I even had to come out.
“I only feel like you’re coming out if you’ve been married, or pretend you were straight.”
He added: “I never felt I had any false thoughts in my brain. I didn’t have three kids and then go, ‘Guess what, guys?’ There were no bulletins to be delivered because it was all I ever knew.”
Meanwhile, The X Factor judge hit out at Kim Kardashian, branding her “fake”.
He says young people should not aspire to be like the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star as the lifestyle she portrays is not the key to happiness.
He said: “Fame is a tricky one. If you’re Amy Winehouse and famous for writing great songs, that’s great but it blows my mind that so many people engage with someone like Kim Kardashian.
“She’s got nothing to say, no opinions of anything. I’d hate teenagers to think that’s the way to be happy because it’s not – it’s fake.”
