We all know Nick Grimshaw is one of the best-connected men in pop but if he can pull this off, we’d have to throw him a party with congratulatory sausage rolls. The X Factor judge has revealed that he’d like to get Miley Cyrus over to work with him on the Judge's Houses section of the show - and he's feeling confident.

We are crossing everything.

“I want her to be in my judge's houses on The X Factor,” Nick told Culture magazine. “She’s amazing person. She understands how to work the media completely.

“Yeah, she does silly things and gets her boobs out but she's not overly sexualised, she doesn't slag people off, and she's had both boyfriends and girlfriends - I like that.”

We could be seeing this at Nick's house...

Nick, 31, also revealed he’d previously spent time with the Wrecking Ball star (of course, who hasn’t Nick hung out with?) and was charmed by her normalness.

He added: “I went to her dressing room after a show, and she was twerking with her friends and showing everyone her arse and sticking it up on Instagram, because that's what 21-year-olds do.”

Nick also admitted that working on the ITV show had made him change his perceptions about previous judges on the show. He joked: “I used to think Sharon [Osbourne] and Louis [Walsh] were nutters, or that Nicole Scherzinger was drunk - but you're working 20 hours a day and you go insane.”

“It's full on anarchy, where producers are begging, 'Please focus,' and Simon's saying, 'Definitely don't focus.'”

We have to admit, we are so excited about this year’s show starting. It’s going to be immense.
