After being accused of raping a woman in 2011, basketball player Nick Young has now reached a settlement with the alleged victim, keeping courts out of the picture.
The sportsman, who is currently engaged to singer Iggy Azalea, was faced with a lawsuit in 2013, after the woman made the shocking claims that they met in a Hollywood bar in 2011, and that he later assaulted her in his home.

The lawsuit was filed after she initially reported the alleged crime to the police, but they dismissed their investigation after concluding that her story was ‘flawed’. Nick has always denied all claims, and still protests his innocence.
In 2013, he took to Instagram to reassert this to his fans: "I was shocked with the amount of people who actually believed that Swaggy would do such a thing! I take my craft and my reputation seriously. I have a son that looks up to me as well as fans that are children. I would never want them to think of me in such a way."
He did state during the initial lawsuit that they had consensual sex, but claims he stopped when she passed out.
Initially, the lady requested $3million to settle the case, but Nick refused.
Details of the settlement deal they have now agreed on are not currently known.
The settlement is by no means an admission of guilt on Nick’s behalf.
