Nicki Minaj has a glorious nip-slip moment at the Time 100 Gala

Nicki Minaj is one of the most successful rappers of all time. Not only that, but she's got the kind of rack that makes her MASSIVE boobs look hot in a diamond-encrusted brassiere.

But it looks like her breasticles aren't happy unless ALL the attention is on them.

The 33-year-old musician made Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People list for 2016 and performed her hit Feeling Myself, at the awards ceremony last night.

All very impressive, but Nicki's boobs had their own agenda.

Her left nipple slipped out of the blinged-up bra to be papped backstage with record company boss, Avery Lipman.

It was a minor slip as far as things go. So perhaps Nicki wasn't entirely aware of the wardrobe malfunction when she posted this pic on Instagram with the caption: "We don't gossip we profit. #TimeGALA."

They say all publicity is good publicity. And Nicki's career certainly hasn't suffered from the odd nip slip in the past. Remember this pasty at the Manchester Arena in 2012?

To her credit, Nicki told TIME: "Two of the things that I wanted to leave behind is I write my own raps.

"A man doesn't have write down your thoughts. You're intelligent to write down your own thoughts. And number two, I would become a mogul."

Earlier in the evening, Nicki stepped up her red carpet style in this sheer lace frock from Christian Siriano with sexy knee high boots from Giuseppe Zanotti.

Nicki is the only female rapper to have graced the cover of TIME since Lauryn Hill.

In his intro to the cover, Lil Wayne wrote:

"She's an icon, a boss and a role model to all these young girls out here on how to do it the right way. Her work ethic speaks volumes and has yielded these results. The scary thing is she’s still going. Ha! Nicki Minaj will go down as one of the best to do it in the history of music."
