The first ever Love Island wedding took place earlier this month when 2016 couple Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland tied the knotat the luxurious Gosfield Hall in Essex. However, despite the loved-up pair being joined by their closest family and friends, Olivia's Love Island bestie Cara de la Hoyde and her fiancé Nathan Massey weren't in attendance after Olivia DROPPED Cara from her bridesmaid duties.
Now, after Olivia and Alex's wedding photos were officially published in OK! Magazine, Olivia has revealed the REAL reason behind the pair's falling out.
Olivia, who is now Olivia Bowen, told the publication, “There are two sides to every story. I just guess we haven’t been that close for a while and I hadn’t seen it.
“She missed a few things and I didn’t see her for weeks and months on end, to the point where, when it came down to it, logistically it was impossible to get her dress fitted."
Revealing the pair haven't had a 'big fallout', Olivia then added, “When I asked her to be my bridesmaid I thought we were close, and then sadly we drifted apart, there was no big fallout or anything. It’s just life, priorities change and people come and go."
Of course, Cara is a busy lady herself. Not only does she share her son Freddie with Nathan, the former TOWIE star also has her own wedding to plan, after Nathan popped the question earlier this year.
