Olly Murs says he won’t present X Factor without Caroline Flack

Olly Murs and Caroline Flack go together like Rachel and Ross on Friends. Or hangovers and stuffed crust pizza. Or cheese and burgers. They’re just good together, you know?

Olly told The Sun that if he gets the X Factor presenter job recently vacated by Dermot O’Leary (sob) then he won’t take it – unless the Flackster gets it too.

"There's no way I would even discuss doing the job on my own to replace Dermot," he said.

“Dermot is one of my best mates in the industry. He's my showbiz brother. I would never do the job on my own and never try to be Dermot O'Leary.

"The only way I would even think or talk about it would be if Caroline was doing it with me, because me and Caroline were great together.”

Olly and Caroline would be EXCELLENT replacements for Dermot – though we’re still understandably gutted that Dermot has left the show.

"I wouldn't want us to be compared to Dermot, because Dermot is brilliant at what he is. It would be completely different to what Dermot did."

An X Factor spokesperson said: "No decisions have been taken on who will replace Dermot as host of The X Factor. An announcement will be made in due course."

But then, they would, wouldn’t they? Fingers crossed for Olly and Caroline in the mean time.
