Olly Murs wants to make up with estranged twin brother despite him branding star “self-obsessed sell-out”

Olly Murs has made no secret of his falling out with twin brother Ben but the singer wants to make up despite his sibling previously branding him a “self-obsessed sell-out”.

The singer and his brother fell out after Olly chose not to attend Ben’s wedding to compete in The X Factor in 2009.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, Olly said: “Unfortunately I couldn’t make his wedding so we had a bit of a falling out.

“It’s still the same, it is sad because he is part of the family, he’s my brother, he’s my twin.

“[It’s sad] more so for my mum and dad, technically they’ve lost a son in a way because he’s fallen out with the whole family.

“It was something between me and my brother but I’m more upset for my parents.”

However, Olly told host Jonathan Ross he’d “100 per cent” love to have Ben in his life again.

“He’s my brother no matter what happens you always have a love for family,” he said. “I’m hoping in the future, we’ll sort it out at some point.”
