Usually we're so transfixed on Rylan Clark-Neal's ridiculously white teeth, we're not paying too much attention to anything else.
So we can be forgiven for missing the moment his lip BURST OPEN during a stint on This Morning and had collagen 'dribbling' out of it.
To be fair, it was in 2012 but still, eww!
The 27-year-old divulged his preening mishap, which occurred shortly after his stint in The X Factor, in his autobiography, The Life Of Rylan.
He penned: "I was really nervous about going on This Morning, but Phil and Holly were brilliant and all I remember is that we just laughed and laughed.
"The worst thing happened though. I laughed and laughed SO much my lip burst open and collagen filler started to dribble out."
The horror!
Rightly so, Rylan admitted he was mortified by the event but somehow managed to gloss over it.
How?!
"I'd had a bit too much filler put in the week before. The f*cking horror. Live on TV and half my lip was spread across the floor.
"Somehow it wasn't as awful as it could have been and we continued to laugh at the situation. I joked and said I'd hit my lip on a wall before quickly telling the truth."
Despite bursting his lip fillers, Rylan clearly impressed as he's been a regular on the This Morning couch for the last few years.
So much so that he's set to stand in for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford with his own husband, Dan, on July 8, which makes them the first gay couple EVER to present the show.
Yay!
Maybe lay off the collagen before then. Just a thought.
