Kelly Brook’s been over in the US working really, really hard at the gym for some time now.

Oh, and she’s been filming for brand new Ellen DeGeneres sitcom, One Big Happy. It’s about a lesbian who has a baby with her straight male mate. The mate then gets married to Kelly. Oh, and Kelly does some naked stuff.
The show went out on US telly last night, but we’ll be honest – the reviews haven’t been very good.
It’s possibly time to look away now if you’re a Kelly Brook fan, because things are going to get honest. And by honest, we mean scarily bad reviews.
“One Big Happy delivers stereotypes galore where a script should be. With frat-boy-level pee jokes and unfunny quips about lesbians, straight guys and Brits all over the place, it creaks along like the worst aspects of Three’s Company – and that’s just in the first few minutes,” says Deadline.
The San Francisco Chronicle said: “There’s nothing funny about One Big Happy - the performances are wooden and irritating.”
The New York Times calls the show “an intelligence-insulting sitcom”. Yeee-ouch. And worst of all? Variety calls the show “musty” and “calculated”. Dear god. MUSTY?!
But hey, there’s one thing to be considered – tons of awful US sitcoms carry on for years regardless. Just look at Two And A Half Men…
