The local group (Laban ng Pamilyang Pilipino which translates to Against The Filipino Family) are campaigning for the One Direction stars to be forced to do a drugs test as they claim: “This is for the welfare of their fans, mostly youth.”

In their protest, the organisation have used a picture of Zayn – where he was caught on video reportedly smoking Cannabis while on tour in Peru in May 2014 – with the caption: “No drug test, no entry.”

1D are set to play at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on 21 and 22 March.

It’s still unknown whether the lads will face this. What we do know is that they’ll be trying to distance themselves from the past, fast.

Last year, Zayn was forced to defend himself after a US TV host, Matt Lauer, brought up “rumours of substance abuse” when Zayn missed a flight and didn’t appear on a planned Today Show appearance with his bandmates.

“I’m really angry and upset by what was said,” Zayn told the Sun at the time. “I was really ill at the weekend, that’s why I couldn’t fly to America.”

We’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
