It’s been a tough few days for One Direction with Zayn Malik quitting the band after dropping out of their tour.
But are things set to go from bad to worse? Will the band completely split up?
Bookies are saying the remaining four boys – Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson – are set to go their separate ways despite the overwhelming love for the group from Directioners with odds for them to split this year set at 3/1, meaning bookmakers expect it to happen. Sob.

A spokesperson for Ladbrokes said: “As far as the odds are concerned there’s only one direction for the band, and that’s to call it a day completely. Boybands are never the same as a four-piece, and unfortunately for Directioners all over the world it looks like this is it.”
Meanwhile, One Direction fans have come together with many showing their support for Zayn after his departure was announced.
One person tweeted: “I just want to thank Zayn for everything he’s done for this fandom. #AlwaysInOurHeartsZaynMalik.”
Another posted: “We all knew this time would come but we never expected it to be so soon. #WeLoveYouZayn.”
And one other wrote: “Thank you for just being yourself. Thank you for being amazing. We love you @zaynmalik.”

Zayn quits the band on 25 March. A statement reads: "My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart."
