If you were a multi platinum selling boyband star whose band split and you wanted to make a big comeback, what would you do?

Would you explode back onto the pop scene with a hit tune and shout about it all over the radio and television before stuffing it in as many people’s ears as possible or would you just keep quiet about it?

We’d probably go for the first option but if you’re former JLS star Oritse Williams, you opt for the latter – and to make things even more confusing he’s only gone and changed his name!

Oritse is back as OWS and has released the video for his first solo single Waterline.

The track features no.1 US rapper Pusha T, who’s signed to Kanye West’s record label, and the song is actually not rubbish, which is always a bonus.

Oritse, sorry, OWS decided to shun the traditional marketing push and promotional tour and snuck up on us, releasing the song as a surprise. Woah.

And, after the single was leaked on Jay Z’s blog Life + Times in September, he’s done pretty well.

Oritse, SORRY, OWS said: “To have a rapper with a number one US hip hop album feature on my first single Waterline was a blessing, to also have King Push in the music video is truly unbelievable.

“Working with Pusha T along with the backing of Kanye and G.O.O.D Music is incredible and demonstrates their belief in me as an artist.”
