Good news, me hearties! During Disney's D23 Expo, it was confirmed that Orlando Bloom WILL be reprising his role as Will Turner in 2017’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Orlando Bloom played Will Turner for three previous movies alongside Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise - but didn't appear in the fourth film, 2011's On Stranger Tides.

Speaking of rumours of his return last December, the 38-year-old said: “I'm of course Davy Jones now, so I'm down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I'm rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won't look anything like me. Get all gnarly.”

So what's the new film about?, we hear you say - It's known that the new plot will revolve around Will’s bond with his offspring and down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow, who is still trying to triumph against the deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis Captain Salazar.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, is set to sail into cinemas in summer, 2017.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!
