You know how celebs usually have pretty ordinary jobs like the rest of us before they get proper famous?

Simon Cowell worked as an estate agent before he made his millions from The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent.

And, let's not forget, the magic that was Pop Idol.

Remember Gareth Gates with his neat little spikes? The stuff that our tween dreams were made of.

Others had to start out in hilariously cringe adverts before hitting the silver screen – just take a look at Brad Pitt dancing topless in a Pringles advert, or Leonardo DiCaprio trying to convince us that bubble gum is YUM.

And then there was Ryan Gosling in Goosebumps with the best 90s curtains we have EVER seen (sorry, Aaron Carter).

But it seems that Orlando Bloom is doing it the other way round.

The A-lister might be a big Hollywood star but he's packing it all in to become … a teacher.

(Sort of.)

Orlando is flying over from Los Angeles to the UK in order to teach drama lessons to kids at Cheadle Hulme High School in Manchester.

Erm – where were you when we were trying to be serious Thespians during our GCSE drama classes, Orlando? EH?

He's going to be teaching 11-year-olds how about stage presence and the important of voice in theatre, apparently.

Fancy.

A spokesperson told The Times: "The thinking is that teaching these skills will not only get students interested in acting – a profession in which state school kids are now hugely under-represented – but also boost their confidence and social ability in a way that will make all the difference when it comes to Oxbridge interviews, competition for top jobs, interviews and impressing in the workplace."

Yeah, we reckon putting Orlando Bloom's name on your CV isn't gonna hurt.
