The TV presenter appeared on a panel show for the Academy Awards last night and was there to give some witty critique about some of the attendees’ outfits.
However, it turned out her general knowledge of some of the films were not up to scratch as she revealed she’d never seen Foxcatcher and had only watched part of Whiplash while on a plane.
Oh, and she had no idea Neil Patrick Harris was hosting the show.

Some viewers (actually, there were quite a few of them) were not pleased about her apparent lack of film knowledge and took to Twitter to air their grievances.
“Alexa, what did you think of Foxcatcher?' 'I haven't actually seen it...' Good God, what is the point of Alexa Chung?!” wrote one. Another added:
“Quick @alexa_chung there's an add break. Maybe you can google the movies…#wikithat.”
Our favourite however was this one: “Apparently Alexa Chung loved 'Birdmen' erm...that's Birdman love.”
Never mind. She can’t be great at everything now, can she?
