EDDIE REDMAYNE, WE LOVE YOU! The actor, who won the Oscar for Best Actor in Los Angeles last night, says he learnt a lot of his craft from NEIGHBOURS!
Even better, he says Karl and Susan Kennedy (Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne) are his favourite tutors.

Lets just clear something up here: Eddie has never appeared in Neighbours, he just loves the show and used to watch it every day.
Speaking about Susan and Karl after his Oscar win last night, he told news.com.au: “I think they’re amazing. “I’m a huge fan of them from old. I’ve learnt a lot from watching them daily.” AH-MAZE-ING!
Susan and Karl Jackie and Alan have already heard Eddie’s praise and seem just as star struck as the Oscar winner.

Jackie said: “It’s always wonderful when someone compliments your work, but to have such lovely things said from such an incredibly talented actor is very humbling and means more to me than he will ever know.”
Alan added: “To receive such generous praise from an actor of Eddie Redmayne’s starling ability and status has been thrilling for both of us.
“It never ceases to excite me to hear examples of the influence of Neighbours has had beyond Australia. And congratulations to Eddie for the recognition of your wonderful performance in The Theory of Everything.”
It seems Susan and Karl have been playing on Eddie’s mind quite a bit recently as just over a week ago, he told Elle: “Watch, and you’ll find that everything they do is on another level of genius. I really do think so.
“They are the greatest unsung acting duo in history. [If I met them] that would be complete stage fright.
“I’ve met quite a few extraordinary actors, but either Susan or Karl? Well, I don’t think I’d be able to talk.”
Wow…
