Just a week after she revealed she had been cured of Hepatitis C, Pamela Anderson’s ex husband has also been revealed as free from the disease.

Pam, 48, claimed she contracted the condition from her ex husband Tommy, 53, after she shared a tattoo needle with the Motley Crue drummer.

The former couple are now free from the blood disease (which can cause liver damage) after trying out a new treatment. Previously they had each lived with the condition for over two decades.

Animal rights campaigner Pamela has now revealed that it was her ex that suggested she undergo the new treatment first.

She told Entertainment Tonight: "You know Tommy did it first so he got cured first.

"He had a different kind of treatment because he did it a year earlier than me. And he was always pushing me, you got to do this."

Pam’s life completely changed when she was diagnosed with Hep C and doctors warned her that she may never be cured.

She explained: "About 10 years in they said that you could live your whole life with this disease and you may not die from it. You could more likely die from something else, but you could get liver cancer. You could get all these horrible other things.

I think it played into a lot of my decision making like when it came to trying to recreate families for my kids. Trying to figure out a way to get them secure and trying to figure it all out. I know it did a number on me maybe acting out a little bit and now that I'm cured I feel like I just got all those 20 years back.

"Now I'm going to go crazy. I'm going to do every single thing I can. Every minute counts so."
