Rainbows, unicorns and a throne made of candyfloss: nope, not a seven-year-old's dreams on acid, but Paris Hilton's new video for upcoming single Come Alive. Huzzah!
OK, so the song itself might cause some mild to moderate hearing problems, but if you mute it you can still get the full effect just from the visuals.
Heiress Paris – who literally has enough money that she can spaff millions on a dead-end 'music' 'career' (and we use those precise words on the loosest possible basis) and not even get a cross phone call from her bank manager – has donned a big, puffy chiffon-y number for this latest music vid and gets to harass a horse with a horn loosely sellotaped to its head. Ah, how the other half live.
It's too hard to pick a single best moment, but the bit where she's having a private moment on a flower-bedecked swing comes highly recommended. As done the part where she's not quite interacting with a crescent moon that appears to have crashed to the Earth.
Like, that couldn't actually happen, Paris. You wouldn't be able to sort-of dance next to the Moon if it crashed on this planet. It would actually be the end of humankind. The impact of the collision would kill most of us straight off. And that's not to mention the horrific tsunamis that such a magnetic pull would cause. This is not a thing to celebrate, Paris. Don't stand there and try to style this one out.
Anyway, watch the video. It'll give you something to talk about tomorrow, at the very least.
