Former S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole has revealed the true extent of his financial woes weeks after listing the band's 2002 Best British Single BRIT Award on auction site eBay.

Paul - who recently admitted he's been turned down by producers of reality telly show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! MULTIPLE times - joined the Loose Women panel and claimed he couldn't even afford a new shirt for the interview.

Panelist Jayne Moore pointed out "You don’t have the money to buy the shirt on your back" as Paul discussed how he's fallen on hard time's since S Club 7's 2015 reunion tour.

He explained: "Last year – something that I can’t really discuss – happened but I’ve had an injury. That’s what has happened in the last year.

"In 2015 when I was doing the tour, I was made bankrupt. I had to give all the money from that tour had to pay the lawyer bill off."

Paul also discussed his old S Club BRIT Awards, which he recently listed on eBay in the hope of earning some money. He said: "It was no way a PR thing. I didn’t expect it to go how it did. I regret, in a way, how it has gone.

"I was hoping to be able to sell them quietly, without there being a furore."

This all comes after Paul recently claimed he's been turned down by reality TV producers despite being open to the idea. Chatting to NME, he revealed: "Someone said to me, ‘Why don’t you just not sell the awards and just go into the jungle [on I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!]?'

"I have asked them many times if they will let me in and they won’t have me. I’m not famous enough, apparently. But when you look at some of the people they put in, it really is extended friends of famous people. Cousins of friends.

"I’ve been told this by many of these reality TV shows – they just don’t want me. They could easily have put me in the jungle. Or the dancing one. Or the ice one."

Oh dear.
