Did Paul Hollywood’s ex-wife just throw shade at his 22-year-old girlfriend?

In case you haven’t heard, Paul Hollywood’s had a bit of a year. After the whole being the only GBBO judge to move with the show to Channel 4 thing, he attracted huge controversy for seemingly leaving his wife for a 22-year-old barmaid.

Paul, 52, got together with Summer Monteys-Fullam, who is 30 years his junior, last year. It was reported that Paul met Summer while organising a birthday party for his wife Alex at the pub she worked in, although Summer has insisted she got together with Paul after the couple split.

But Alex has seemingly thrown some shade Summer’s way on Instagram, after posting for a recipe for a summer tart and using the cryptic hashtags #tart and #easy. Hmm.

She wrote: “Summer Berry Tart.. made with strained Greek yoghurt, flavoured with lemon zest & honey and a baked biscuit crumb base.. #berries #tart#pudding #easy #recipe”.

And many people think there’s more to the post than just a recipe.

One wrote: “I see what you did there Subtle but classy, I like your style. #deepermeaningquote”

Another added: “I like your style, ha ha. I kinda liked your husband but I like you more now that he has made himself look STOOOPID. You're clearly the smart one.”

Summer recently opened up about her and Paul’s relationship to the MailOnline, saying: “I’m fine and I’m enjoying life. I’m not upset… I’m happy. Why should it [the age gap] bother me?

“There are many other people in the world with age gaps, and marriages and kids and everything else and I’m fine,” she continued.
