We might know him mainly for being unlucky-in-love-and-well-just-about-everything-else Mark Corrigan from Peep Show, but David Mitchell isn't exactly like his nerdy, history-obsessed accident-prone star of the show.
David is in fact so charming and beardy that he's got himself a wife, in the form of journalist and poker player Victoria Coren! The pair married over the weekend at St Peter's Church, in North London. David, who's usually quite shy about his private life, tweeted: "Thanks so much for all the lovely tweets about our wedding yesterday. Having trouble phrasing it but the gist is: I'm incredibly happy."
Victoria, who was given away by fit brother Giles Coren (you know, the angry restaurant critic who sometimes does shows on TV with Sue Perkins?), also tweeted: "Thanks very much for your nice tweets. It was a brilliant day and we're ridiculously happy."

She added: "Off on exotic honeymoon now. First stop: Preston. Magical in the rain. See you in December xx" Awwwww! Celebrity guests (apart from fit and angry Giles Coren) included David's co-star and occasional Fresh Meat actor Robert Webb (who was his best man!), Claudia Winkleman (who was one of the bridesmaids), and comedians Frank Skinner, Jimmy Carr and David Baddiel. Ex-Xtra Factor presenter Konnie Huq was also there.
Although he's set off for sunnier seas (or maybe, just Preston), we can see David on TV very soon again, as the newest series of Peep Show is set to return to Channel 4. The EIGHTH series starts this Sunday (25 November) at 10pm.
Hooray! Oh, and congrats to David and Victoria!
