Perrie Edwards has opened up further about her split from Zayn Malik and a horrifying realisation she had after their relationship broke down - she was homeless.
The Little Mix star had set up a home with her former One Direction singer ex in north London but realised she "had nowhere to go" when they went their separate ways.
She wrote in her band’s new book Our World: "After I split with my partner, out of the blue I had nowhere to go, which was incredibly stressful. For a while I had no idea what to do."
Her bandmates Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock all said they could stay with them but Perrie admits they "didn’t really have room".
She also confessed that she didn’t want to burden them after the split.
Perrie continued: "I thought about renting but I’ve got dogs and cats, so that was no good.
"At the time we were promoting Black Magic, and while I was in America, things really hit me and I panicked.
"I realised I was homeless. I was crying every day, dreading coming back."
Eventually Perrie’s mother Debbie and her management team arranged for her to stay in a guest cottage owned by her manager Richard Griffiths.
"I told her I was stressed because I didn’t know what I should do about where to live once I got back to England," Perrie explained.
"She arranged… for me to stay in Richard’s guest cottage for as long as I needed, until I got on my feet again.

"Thank God for him. I put all my stuff in storage, took my dogs and more or less lived out of a suitcase for a good month and a half."
Perrie recently revealed Zayn dumped her by text two years after they got engaged.
The couple was together for four years in total.
