Last year was a pretty hectic one for Little Mix lady, Perrie Edwards.
She got a tonne of attention thanks to the lyrics of Shout Out To My Ex (which apparently had a much less subtle dig at ex Zayn Malik and his model girlfriend Gigi Hadid), she opened up about how the split with the former One Direction boy made her homeless, and she had a dalliance with hawt Skins and My Girl star, Luke Pasqualino.
Who – by the way – made our list of 2016’s best new celebs, because abs.
But now that we’ve finally come to terms with the fact we’ve got to wait until next Christmas to eat camembert for breakfast again, we’ve all entered a world of detoxing and kombucha tea and dry January.
And Perrie is also favouring leaving the dramz of 2016 behind her.
Because she’s started this year by making things Instagram official with new boyfriend and Arsenal footballer, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Oooooh yes.
In a move that positively screams 2017, Perrie and Alex are now following each other on Instagram.
Considering that she’s only following 80 people, if that isn’t modern day true love, we don’t know what is.
Hurrah! Now the couple never have to worry about missing out on their other half’s brekkie and pet pics - or the celeb equivalent, snaps of them hanging off yachts in the south of France or something.
Maybe Alex wanted to make sure that Perrie’s family are wearing all the Arsenal stuff she apparently bought them for Christmas?
