Amongst the semi-good weather, amazing festivals we wish we were attending and getting all hot and bothered everyday on the tube – summer also means a brand new Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother series are on their way and we can't bloody wait.
Alongside the announcement that this summer's Big Brother will have a 'political' theme, (you can watch the BRAND NEW trailer right here) rumours of the Celebrity Big Brother line-up are also pretty RIFE.
The latest to join the rumoured line-up - that already includes CAITLYN JENNER, Charlotte Crosby, Stephen Bear and Hulk Hogan - is our favourite reality telly fitlord Pete Wicks.
A show insider told The Sun: "CBB are determined to get a big TOWIE star this year, and Pete is the obvious choice as he’s had some huge storylines.
"Pete has already said he needs a break from the show and seeing as this is going to be a big money deal it’s looking like a no-brainer."
They added that Pete is well aware of what Celebrity Big Brother can do for your career after his ex-girlfriend Megan McKenna appeared on the show back in 2015.
"Celebrity Big Brother launched Megan’s career so Pete knows it could take him to the next level and boost his profile, while giving him a much-need break from Towie stress."
Following the season finale earlier this month, Pete recently admitted that the last series of TOWIE 'was his worst yet' and admitted that the pressure of it all really affected him.
:( :( :( :(
"I didn’t watch any of the last series. Not one episode,' he told The Sun.
"It wasn’t a good series for me. Worst ever. The break came at the right time.
"There was a lot of arguing and lots of people were falling out, people were getting the hump and doing things that weren’t necessarily right."
Sounds like CBB could be the perfect opportunity for a break, ey Pete?
