*The Only Way Is Essex *was rocked (ROCKED!) when news broke that Pete Wicks had been having a full blown textual affairwith his ex, Jacqui Ryland, behind Megan McKenna's back.
We thought that Pete was a gentleman! Plus we can hardly believe that someone would invoke Megan's wrath. He's brave, we'll give him that.
TOWIE viewers have so far seen Megs and her family give Pete very short shrift as he attempts to make things up to her. But is he giving up?
Doesn't look that way.
Pete's tweeted a picture of himself looking very serious and striding down the road with the caption: "Man on a mission".
It looks like the picture was taken as Pete made his way to a party at Chloe Sims' salon where he was reunited with Megan. In the 'stood next to each other way'.
And Megan looked simply delighted to see him. Could they be back together?
Megs has subsequently tweeted saying: "I'm sick of press making up stories from one pic taken by hungry paps."
But she does look happy. Which could maybe mean that Pete's plan is succeeding.
Both Pete and Megs seem to have tweeted about how the strain of Pete's betrayal is affecting them, with Pete saying he's having trouble sleeping: "Barely slept...longest day coming up #CoffeeWarrior."
And Megan: '"Keep getting the WORST indigestion... now I'm thinking is it just anxiety!? F*ck sake..... can't deal! Ruining my day!!"
Our TOWIE love, Bobby Norris, told *heat *that he thought Pegan would be back together in a matter of weeks, so hopefully they won't be suffering too long.
Bobby also revealed that he and Gemma Collins have been having some bathroom time together that is possibly information that we didn't need. But we're grateful for never the less.
