The Pete Wicks and Megan McKenna dramz has been so all-absorbing that we are literally not sure what we did before it all kicked off.
Was there a time when we thought true love was real and when Danielle Armstrong was considering dating an Essex boy? Probably. But we can’t remember because it feels like a dream.
When the tattooed one was outed for his textual affair with various ladies that weren’t Megan, and THEN it all came out that one of them was his ex-girlfriend, Jacqui Ryland, every TOWIE fan was shocked.
Because they were so in love they’d give Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie a run for their money.
In the scenes that aired shortly after it all came to light, we could literally feel Megan’s rage sizzling through the telly. Pete swore to do everything in his power to get Megs back, and the world and its friend had an opinion on their relationship.
But now Pete has turned to The Sun Online to give is first proper interview about it all, including how the public have reacted to the scandal.
“People shout at me in the streets, they call me a c**t and all sorts of other things,” he told the website.
Blimey, guys. He might have acted like a wally but it’s up to Megan to decide how she handles it from here.
Pete also went on to reiterate that he will do everything in his power to win her back, and he is also desperate to rebuild relationships with her family who he grew close to.
“We aren’t back together … If Megan decides there is a future between us she’s told me it’s going to be a long time before that happens but I’ve accepted that,” he said in the interview.
Even though the pair have been spotted together, Pete claims that Megan may not ever be able to trust him and Pegan could be well and truly over for good.
And Megan's latest Insta snap is pretty confusing - even more so because she has deleted it.
Taking a picture of their wrists together, Megs wrote: "Awkward when your out for dinner with you ex on his birthday ... [sic]"
At least we have Perrie Edwards and Luke Pasqualino, right?
