Pharrell Williams calls Adele a ‘masterful writer’

Pharrell Williams has been collaborating with Adele and HE is the one who was can't contain his excitement any longer.

The Happy singer admitted that even a super-duper-duper-duper star like himself only gets 30 minutes with British singer Adele before she has to get back to her son, Angelo. Aww.

Pharrell said: “I’ve seen her recently. She’s kinda like, ‘OK guys, I’m gonna open my diary for 20 minutes’. So it’s like, OK, you have 20 minutes, or 32 minutes really.

“Then she gives it to you and closes it up and disappears, and she’s off with her beautiful boy – and that’s what it’s all about.”

Adele - whose third highly anticipated album, 25, has been get well under wraps has two-year-old Angelo, with Simon Konecki.

Big in the game of everything musical Pharrell labelled Adele as the most exciting artist at the moment.

He told heat radio presenter Ryan Seacrest at Cannes Lions advertising festival: “She is a masterful writer. You listen to her albums and the intention is living and breathes.”

Ryan also asked the 42-year-old what the deal is with his absolutely, amazing wrinkle-free skin.

And of course Pharrell gave the coolest, most smooth answer possible by saying: “It’s all down to curiosity. I think a curious mind is a young mind. As long as the fire of curiosity is burning then you’ll stay young.”

“There’s always a healthy cup of delusion in there, and blind ambition. Sometimes it’s laughable," added Pharrell.

“Like when people are super-convinced they can sing, and you know that they can’t but there’s no convincing them – they just don’t get it. I love those people.

“But I’m not delusional about one thing. Music is the skeleton key that has opened all the doors for me.”
