Poor old Pippa Middleton cannot catch a break. First she's put on a pedestal so the world's menfolk have a legit reason to watch the Royal Wedding, THEN she's criticised for trying to upstage the bride, big sister Kate Middleton. Now Pips has spoken out for the first time about the famous nuptials – and that infamous dress.
Speaking to the US's Today show, P-Middy said her only aim on the big day was to be there for her sister, so the level of interest in her own bridesmaid dress was "embarrassing".
"The dress was almost meant to be insignificant," she told Today's Matt Lauer. But after that tidal wave of bum envy she faced, Pippa found it hard to read comments people left on Facebook and Twitter about her.
"It's hard sometimes because I have felt publicly bullied a little bit just by, you know, when I read things that clearly aren't true or that, whichever way someone looks at it, it's a negative side," she said.
"It is quite difficult. Because effectively I'm just paving my way and trying to live a life like any 30-year-old."
Pips also opened up about her baby nephew, Prince George, who turns one later this month.
"He's a very dear boy and he's brought a lot of pleasure and fun for all of us, the whole family," she added of the "amazing" addition to her family.
So what of that dress? It's, er, still in her wardrobe.
"I think I'll just keep it there," she said. "I think it's the sort of thing that I'm sure I'll bring out if someone wanted to see it or my children one day want to see it. Then I'll show them but yes it's tucked away."
