Cops were called to The Only Way Is Essex star Frankie Essex’s home after she allegedly became involved in a fight with ex-boyfriend John Lyons which resulted in him being injured.
A source close to the reality star told The Sun on Sunday Frankie accidently caught John on the neck with a glass as she tried to push him away which left him with wounds.
The source said: “They have a very turbulent relationship, and it’s not unusual for them to be rowing. But this was a particularly nasty argument.
“She never meant to hurt him but he surged towards her and she panicked and tried to push him away. She caught him on the neck with a glass.”
Essex police confirmed to the newspaper that they attended an incident “involving a man with a wound to the neck” but no further action was taken.
A representative for Frankie declined to comment when contacted by heatworld.
